Our custom-built, barn-inspired, event venues were thoughtfully designed to offer a timeless blank canvas for your event. The Pines venues feature everything you’ll need to create a memorable event experience; a wide-open floor plan with a welcoming reception area, elegant bathrooms, an expansive great hall, dedicated event prep suites, designated ceremony areas, and an on-site bar.
In 2018, The Pines was founded with a passion for design and unique social experiences. The Grain Designs team had been renting the property’s “farm shop” for years prior and fell in love with the tranquility and rural freedoms that the property offered. A decision was made to purchase the property in early 2018 and the team immediately began envisioning what The Pines could become. Months later, the Pines Weddings & Events was formed and Pines White was completed, hosting the first wedding in September of 2018.
The Pines property has an optimistic future but also a storied past. Dating back to the late 1800s and early 1900s, the property was previously the Kennedy Bonanza Farm. This farm was home to two massive horse barns, a workshop, the main house, worker lodging, and even a general store. “The Kennedy Bar” inside Pines White pays homage to the property’s past. “The 120 Bar & Lounge” in Pines Black is a nod to the massive 120’x120’ draft horse barns that were once on the property where Pines Black sits today. Years later the property became a family farm which passed down for generations until it was reimagined by Grain Designs to host unique weddings and events!
It is truly our pleasure to share this property with you. The Grain Designs team has designed and crafted unique furniture and moments all over the property. Many pieces in the farmhouse, Pines Black lounge, tables for both Pines venues, sliding doors, custom signs, and more, are all hand-crafted by Grain Designs. Lisa has worked in the event industry for almost ten years, specializing in venue operations, event logistics, event curation, marketing, and management. She has been working as the Director of Events at the Pines since October 2021 and is excited to continue to encourage the growth of the Pines.
Equipped with a type A personality, Lisa loves organization and systems, ensuring that the company is operative at a high level of performance. Her favorite part of her job is making a positive impact on all guests and problem-solving!
Autumn has worked in the event industry for almost two years, specializing in client relations and event management. She has been working as the Wedding & Events Manager at the Pines since April 2022 and is excited to continue to build impactful relationships with Pines clients.
With her bubbly personality, Autumn fills every room she enters with joy and excitement. Her favorite part of her job is working with clients, learning their vision and dreams, while assisting with curating the Pines to fit their event goals.
