The Pines is an award-winning wedding and event venue located near Fargo, ND. We are looking for passionate, hard-working individuals to operate the Pines bars on event days. This opportunity is perfect for excellent communicators who are detail-oriented, and who enjoy providing excellent customer service.

Bartenders’ primary responsibility is to provide high-level bar services to primary renters and guests while ensuring the Pines standard level of care is being upheld.

Position Type: Part-Time Hourly

Pay Range: $17 per hour (+ cash and credit card tips)

Position Responsibilities

Work closely with the Pines Leadership Team in all aspects related to the day of events.
Confirm the accuracy of bar prep and overall cleanliness.
Open and prepare the bar for the arrival of the guests.
Greet guests upon arrival at the bar.
Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for event attendees.
Check identification cards to ensure customers are of legal drinking age.
Properly handle cash, credit card, and debit card transactions.
Ensure the bar is meeting all standards set by the Pines Leadership Team.
Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.
Complete all checklists on the day of events.
Notify the Leadership Team of any building maintenance issues.
Work with venue staff throughout the event ensuring the safety of all guests and staff.
Identify and quickly resolve any problems that may arise during events while maintaining a stress-free environment.
Positively represent the Pines brand and its core values both on-site and off (including social media).
Ensure you are upholding the Pines Core Values.

Qualifications

High School Diploma Required
Must be 21 yrs of age or old and have the ability to serve alcohol.
Must obtain a Cass County Servers License
Be hard-working, maintain a positive attitude, and show a desire to learn in this position/industry.
Engaging personality, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service.
Must exude professionalism and follow all Pines dress and hygiene standards (The Pines will provide all employees with one Pines-branded zip-up sweater and two approved Pines Branded shirts).
Able to thrive independently and maintain poise, confidence, and consistency in all circumstances, solving problems as they arise without supervision.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
