At The Pines: Both of our venues, Pines Black (max capacity of 345) and Pines White (max capacity of 400) offer versatile, customizable spaces that can accommodate a wide range of guest counts. Our venues have a dedicated ceremony space, a cocktail hour area, and a spacious reception hall. A Pines Client Relations Manager will work with you every step of the way to create the perfect layout and flow, tailored to fit your event.
In the case of inclement weather, our team always has a backup plan so your wedding day goes off without a hitch—rain or shine! An outdoor wedding in North Dakota can be daunting at first thought, but with our team’s extensive experience, we can make a ceremony location change at Pines White from outdoor to indoor within minutes.
Understanding the venue’s availability and pricing structure is crucial:
At The Pines: We believe in full transparency with all clients and offer a live, online pricing and date availability calendar to provide the most accurate information at the tip of your fingers. Our calendar also allows us to offer clients seasonal booking discounts and off-peak rates for specific days of the year.
All of our wedding day packages include tables, chairs, and linen napkins provided by our exclusive catering partner, Chef’s Table Catering. A fully stocked and staffed bar with NO BAR MINIMUMS is also available for all our events at The Pines.
To secure your dream day at one of our venues, a one thousand dollar security deposit is due at the time of booking. After that, fifty percent of your rental fee is due eight months before your date, and the final fifty percent is due during your final consultation with our team, approximately two weeks before your wedding day. Our team believes in no hidden fees or additional service charges for amenities so the price you see is the price you pay!
Vendor flexibility can significantly impact your planning experience:
At The Pines: We’ve put together a list of preferred local vendors that we have extensive experience with, this list can be found on our preferred vendors page on our website. Vendors featured on this list have all been to our venue and created an excellent experience for Pines couples and guests! If you want to choose vendors who are not on our preferred list, that is totally fine with us – all vendors are welcome at the Pines.
We do, however, have an exclusive catering partnership with Chef’s Table Catering for the dinner served to your guests. Upon booking the Pines, your date is automatically reserved with their team, and we will connect you with their amazing Sales Manager to start your food planning journey!
Our entire Pines team has worked tirelessly to curate a venue and experience that can be transformed to fit everyone’s vision, we do have a few decor restrictions; no live flames, no confetti cannons, and no fog machines.
Our standard contract venue arrival time is 9:00 am, but if you need early access to the space, our team is happy to accommodate an earlier arrival time for an additional fee.
The right amenities can make your wedding day smoother and more enjoyable:
At The Pines: Custom Grain Designs wooden farm tables and chairs are provided up to the capacity of our venues. Our team has also hand-crafted multiple structural elements in each venue; an arch, backdrop walls, cafe tables, and more, for our events to use at no additional charge.
Each event is assigned one of our on-site day of Venue Managers to ensure that your day and details organized with our team are executed to perfection. Two prep suites are available for use in each of our venues, and essential elements are provided by our team: steamers, portable speakers, coffee machines, and more!
Guest experience is our top priority for all events, and to ensure the experience starts the second your guests arrive, dedicated parking lots are available. Directional signs will guide your guests through our property and to the appropriate venue.
Don’t overlook the small details and policies:
At The Pines: All renters at The Pines are required to carry a certificate of insurance that covers not only the general liability of hosting an event but also any hosted liquor at the event. Our team recommends the use of Wedsure.com, a reliable experienced insurance provider that is extremely cost-effective (around $125 for the policy).
Due to our rural-ish location, there are no volume restrictions but the music inside the venue must conclude at midnight per our township ordinances. Once booked, your dedicated Client Relations Manager is available to you for any questions, we are here to help guide you along the planning journey. Unlimited consultations and walkthroughs are available for all clients at The Pines.
Our team is always brainstorming ways to improve guest experience and keep the venues up to date. Each year we launch exciting new features like Sunset Point and The Log Wall. In 2025, multiple exciting new updates will be coming to The Pines, stay tuned for more details!
At The Pines: We provide indoor backup spaces for outdoor weddings and have plans in place to handle winter weather. Our location offers easy access to nearby accommodations and ample parking, ensuring your guests are comfortable and well taken care of.
