After the initial “yes” to your special proposal, the second “yes” in the wedding planning journey is usually saying yes to your venue. There is a lot of research and time that goes into picking the perfect Fargo, ND venue for you, because the venue sets the entire tone for the wedding. It isn’t just a building, it is where your forever begins, and it should be a reflection of how special the day is to you.
We understand this, and have two venues that have an equal balance of beauty, while also offering differing features and aesthetics. If you consider the Pines, then we want to ensure that the process of deciding on which venue is one you are confident and educated in, while also putting the least amount of effort into researching as possible. Good things in life can come easy, so keep reading to break down the decision of which venue is right for you.

Both venues offer similar but also different features and amenities, and deciding can make some feel as if there is a lot to consider. So in this section we are including a list of topics you should consider, and what that will mean for you.
If you love soft tones, romantic lighting, and a touch of countryside charm, Pines White is your match. Its exposed beams and farmhouse details bring a cozy, rustic feel that’s timeless and full of character.
If you lean toward a sleek, elevated design with clean lines and bold contrast, Pines Black delivers modern sophistication with its industrial architecture and refined finishes. Think about the type of atmosphere you want your guests to experience — warm and romantic, or bold and contemporary — and let that guide your decision.
If you’ve always dreamed of walking down an outdoor aisle surrounded by nature, the outdoor ceremony site at Pines White is picture-perfect. The handcrafted benches, open-air setting, and barn door backdrop make for a grand yet natural entrance.
If you prefer the comfort of an indoor ceremony without sacrificing beauty, Pines Black offers an attached ceremony hall with vaulted ceilings, grand entrance doors, and floor-to-ceiling windows that still invite the beauty of the outdoors in. Consider your comfort level with weather and your wedding season when deciding which ceremony style fits best.
If you’re planning a larger celebration with up to 400 guests, Pines White gives you that extra space while maintaining an intimate, welcoming feel.
For smaller or mid-size gatherings up to 345 guests, Pines Black offers a slightly cozier layout while still feeling grand and spacious. Think about the energy you want in the room – whether that’s a lively, full crowd or a more intimate gathering with close friends and family.
Each venue also offers its own unique spaces to enhance your wedding experience. Pines White’s Farmhouse offers a pool and shuffleboard that create a laid-back and luxurious atmosphere for your wedding party to enjoy.
Pines Black’s Lounge features a golf simulator and a pool table – perfect for couples wanting to mix fun and relaxation into their day. Consider how you want your day to unfold – whether you’re envisioning relaxing by the pool and possibly utilizing it for photos or would like a golf simulator for both parties along with some pool games.
Sometimes, the easiest way to make your decision is to experience it in person. Each space has its own energy that’s hard to capture in photos. Touring both venues allows you to envision your décor, your ceremony, and your celebration in the space – and often, the right one simply feels right.
Schedule a tour, walk the aisles, and see which venue makes you say “yes” for the second time.
